1970: 240Z Introduction. 2.4L inline-6, dual Hitachi carbs

1974: 260Z. Displacement bumped to 2.6L
1975: 280Z Displacement to 2.8L, heavier unibody structure, 5MPH bumpers

1979: 280ZX. First redesign. Rear suspension changed to semi-trailing.
135HP standard, 180HP w/ turbo

1984 : 300ZX Second redesign. All new 3.0L SOHC V-6 165hp standard
205hp w/ turbo

1990 : Third redesign. 3.0L V-6 is now DOHC. Rear suspension changed to multilink. Non-turbo makes 222hp, Turbo makes 300hp
